The coach of the indomitable Lions, Clarence Seedorf has referred to African football legend Samuel Eto’o as his brother at the press conference held today in Egypt.
Four times African best player, Samuel Eto’o visited the camp of the Lions on June 27_and had breakfast with the team, much to the delight of players and staff. When Clarence was asked of how important that visit was, he said:“Samuel Eto’o Fils brought positivity to the camp. It was nice to have a brother like him yesterday”.
Eto’o has not for once blinked on the participation of the Lionesses in the WWC and the Lions (AFCON) in France and Egypt respectively for the past two weeks or so, the most decorated African player of all time has constantly been traveling for major tournaments involving Cameroon.
With the encouragements from Eto’o, Seedorf would be hoping to pick up a victory against Ghana come Saturday, in an encounter that might just be the toughest test yet – for the gaffer.
