Cameroon striker Stephane Bahoken,27 could go on to win the 2019 AFCON title and match his father’s achievement with Cameroon in the 1984 tournament.
The SCO Angers man who was in red hot form last season has made two substitute appearances for Cameroon in the ongoing AFCON and could start on Tuesday evening against Benin given that he was in the pre-match meeting with the media and so far remains the only striker to have scored in the ongoing tournament.
Bahoken’s goal within a minute of his introduction against Guinea was his first goal in a major competition for country.
Son of a great striker Paul Bahoken who featured at the 1982 World Cup in Spain and won the 1984 AFCON with Cameroon,Stephane as one of the new members of the Cameroon squad is looking forward to winning the title like his father did in 1984.
Cameroon Challenge Benin at the Ismaila sports Stadium this Tuesday evening and if Bahoken gets a goal he will become the first Cameroonian striker to score more than 1 goal in Cameroon’s last 3 AFCON tournament.
