Ernest Ekokobe is the first match official beside the players (kick442.com images)

The Confederation of African Football have announced Cameroonian referees;Alioum Neant Sidi, Elvis Guy NOUPUE NGUEGOUE,Douglas KOUETE LEMOUCHELE and Ernest EkokobeĀ  will be a part of the team of match officials to take charge of the AFCON 2019 clash between Algeria and Gambia in Bilda later this Month.

Algeria lead group D with 10 points from their opening 5 games and will finish top of the group if they match Benin’s results against Togo at home on the 22nd of March but Gambia could earn a ticket for the AFCON if they are able to beat Algeria and Togo and Benin failed to win against each other.

Alioum and co certainly have the nerves to handle this one,Alioum especially can boast of 7 AFCON tournament appearances.
