The Algerian army have provided six of it’s military jets to take football fans to Egypt to support the Desert Foxes on Sunday as they take on Nigeria in the semi finals of the ongoing Africa cup of Nations.
The Algerian national airline Air Algerie have also offered chattered flights to transport many other fans to Egypt.
Close to six thousand or more fans are expected to be present at the Cairo International Stadium for this semi finals clash.
The only triumph of the Desert Foxes dates back to 1990 and since then they have failed to make it to the finals.
Algeria has conceeded just one goal in the competition so far and are yet to loose a game in the competition as well. A win against the super eagles on Sunday night will see the North African nation break that unwanted record and be in the finals of the tournament for only the third time.
The Algerian team is participating in the Africa Cup of Nations for the 18th time and fourth consecutive time.
With their captain Riyad Mahrez and striker Baghdad Bounedjah on the top of their game, they can put any defense in problems.
