Adrien Tameze scored his first goal of the game season in the game pitting Montpellier against OGC Nice on Saturday.
The defensive midfielder struck fear into the hearts of fans of “La Mosson” stadium at the 34th minute.
Nice could not hold on to Tamaze’s goal for a win on their travels, as goals from A. Dellort and Mollet did the trick for the home side. The game then ended 2-1 in Montpellier’s favour.
Tameze was courted by some big clubs in the summer transfer window but decided to stay and continue his development.
The 25-year-old has played all 5 games for club so far, leading his side to 4th in the league 1 after 5 match days.
The former Valenciennes man is of Cameroon/French decent but he’s undecided about his international career for now, despite Cameroon trying to lure him into their camp for quite a while now.
