On loan at Italian Serie A side Atalanta Bergame from Ligue 1 outfit Nice, with the option to buy him, 26-year-old potential Indomitable Lion Adrien Tameze has made a revelation about what he wants for his future.
In an interview accorded to French daily L’Equipe, Tameze revealed that he was not envisaging a return to his parent club.
“I have played two games with all the rotations to come, it should be good and I have been able to do a lot in training in the last months,” Tameze said.
“Everything being equal, this has been one of my main preoccupations during the confinement period.
“It’s been two years since Atalanta have been following me up. A return to Nice will be complicated for me.”
The Franco-Cameroonian’s contract with Nice runs till June 2021, but he is seriously not hoping for a return to the Allianz Riviera.
Adrien Fidele Tameze Aoutsa came through the ranks of Lille and Nancy notably, and joint Nice in 2017 from Valenciennes, making 71 league appearances for Nice, scoring one goal.
Though he is a former French youth international, he is still eligible to play for the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon because of his Cameroonian descent.
