Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea are three of seven top European clubs that are ready and willing to secure the services of highly rated Moroccan full-back Achraf Hakimi in the next transfer window, according to reports.
Hakimi’s reputation and notoriety as one of the best in his position has steadily been on the rise, since joining Borussia Dortmund in the last two seasons on loan from Real Madrid.
Real are also keen on holding on to their youth product, with Zidane programmed to hold talks with him at the end of the season, hoping to make him stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Going by reports on Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Real might face difficulties to keep the player who is not willing to play a secondary role to Real’s regular right full back Dani Carvajal.
Dortmund have also expressed the wish to keep the 21-year-old Moroccan on a permanent basis. They fancy themselves to hold on to the player as a swap deal could easily be done as Real also have their sights on Dortmund’s Norwegian forward Erling Haaland.
A swap deal could be preferred especially as clubs will be in a difficult financial situation after the forced shutdown due to the global Coronavirus pandemic.
Juventus of Turin, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich also have the player on their wishlists.
The top three London based Premier League clubs [Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham] are all ready to pounce should Real Madrid make the defender available.
Hakimi has made 46 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund in the last two years. He has scored three goals and provided 10 assists in 25 league games this season.
