Italian Serie A outfit Milan AC have identified OGC Nice’s right back Youcef Atal as a potential target in the upcoming transfer window, CalcioMercato is reporting.

The same source say, the Rossoneri are trying to explore the close relationship between their Algerian midfielder Ismaël Bennacer and Youcef Atal who are not only international colleagues, but close friends.

The 23-year-old, Atal was one most important player in OGC Nice’s current campaign
before he was dealt a blow by the injury which kept him out for months.

He knee injury restricted him to just 14 appearances in all competitions this season. He has recovered and resumed individual training ahead of next season since the French Ligue 1 season has ended.

Despite missing a chunk of the French Ligue 1 season, he is catching the attention of multiple clubs including AC Milan.

The former AC Paradou man joined OGC Nice from KV Kortrijk in July 2018 on a five-year-deal.

With three years left in his current contract at the Allianz Riviera, it will take something spectacular for AC Milan to pull this deal.

Transfermarkt currently rates the defender at just under €30 Million.
