Italian Serie A side Milan AC could join race for 24-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana Onana, kick442.com can report.
Reports we gathered from Tuttosport say the Roseneri have identified current Ajax goalkeeper as the man to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma if he leaves the club this summer.
The same source have it that, the Italian giants have prepared an offer to lure the €30 rated keeper to the San Siro.
The Cameroon international is currently tied to Ajax till the summer of 2022 but he has been a source of multiple transfer speculation in the last weeks.
Those speculations have been fuel by his recent comments interpreted by some as a goodbye message.
21-year-old Donnarumma is currently on contract with AC Milan tiil 2022 but French champions PSG and Chelsea are all admirers of the keeper.
The Cameroonian joined the Dutch side in 2015 from Barcelona B and became Ajax’s undisputable first choice keeper in the 2016/2017 season. Since then he has made 122 appearances in all competitions.
This season, he has been involved in 39 games, conceded 37 goals in all competitions with 15 clean sheets from 3500 minutes of football.
Onana arrived Europe through FC Barcelona’s La Masia in 2010 after a spell at the Samuel Eto’o Foundation [Fundesport]. He spent five years in the highly reputed Academy before leaving for Amsterdam.
He has contributed in winning one dutch league title and a dutch domestic cup win for the Cryuiff Arena faithfuls.
Rumors of his departure from Amsterdam have reached unprecedented heights in the last weeks. AC Milan joins the likes Chelsea, Tottenham, Barcelona, and PSG have been rumoured to be interested in the services of the Nkol Ngok native.
