The African Beach Soccer Union sets to move into its new Secretariat at Wuse Zone 7 Abuja. The president of African Beach Soccer, Mr. Mahmud Hadejia who is also the Chairman Kebbi State Beach Soccer Association thanked the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) for their support. Mr. Mahmud in an interview with pressmen said the Union has rolled out a two-year development plan tagged “Building human capacity through Beach Soccer” The president identified several coaching and referees courses with seminars including Youth Clinic along with side online training in the first quarter of 2021.
He also said the Union is creating awareness through the media to make Beach Soccer more interesting as Kebbi State Beach Soccer has started so Kaduna too is preparing to host their own and expecting Lagos State to come on board.

National Traffic Radio 107.1FM Abuja, the Secretariat in Abuja, will go along way to grow the game.
Other areas of key considerations planned as quick wins for the first quarter of 2021 and 2022 include media promotions and awareness campaigns.
Also considered and approved is the women’s beach soccer promotion and development, along with youth and school programmes which are to be in synchronization with the technical development.
Mr. Mahmud Hadejia said presently they have a programme but they are waiting for NFF to give the go-ahead to proceed.
