Indomitable Lionness captain Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene played a key role as her Russian club CSKA Moscow punished Krasnodar by 4-1 in Match-Day 7 of the domestic Championship on Sunday at the Sportivnyy Kompleks “Novyye Khimki” Stadium.
Onguene scored and assisted in the afternoon as his side cruise past the visitors in their charge towards the top of the table.
The vice champions of last season found the back of the net as early as the second minute through Margarita Chernomyrdina.
Margarita Manuylova and Viktoriya Shkoda then scored twice in four minutes and by the 19th minute it was three nil for the host with the latest goal coming from an Aboudi assist.
CSKA Ladies took the three goals advantage to the break but 16 minutes upon return Anna Sinko pulled one back for Krasnodar.
Aboudi scored her side’s fourth in the 90th minute after an amazing solo run.
The game ended on the 4-1 score thus handing CSKA a fourth win in five outings this season and propels them to the third spot with 12 points like second seeded Lokomotiv and three points behind leaders Zenit Ladies.
CSKA travel to mid table Rostov in their next League assignment on Saturday.
