FootMercato is reporting that English Premier League outfits Newcastle United and Aston are set to engage in a tug of war for Al Nasr’s Moroccan hitman Abderrazak Hamdallah.

Villa and the Magpies are looking to strengthen upfront and the former El-Jaish can cost either of the clubs €18 million, an amount within reach for both clubs.
The forward announced his retirement from international football in November last year. This may turn out to be a stumbling block in the deal. A non European Union footballer is expected to play at least 75% of his country’s games in the last three years before his move to the Premier League is authorized.
The 29-year-old Safi native began his career at his hometown club Olympic Safi and has gone on to score goals wherever he has played.
The former Aelesund forward has scored seven goals in 16 appearances since his international debut in February 2012.
