The left winger with one goal and two assists from 16 appearances in the ongoing season is a major target for the Dutch giants.
According to reports a tweet from African Football hub, Nuhu Adams, Ajax officials who reached out to their Ismaily SC counterparts have been told to prepare a $2 Million package as the player’s transfer fee to make the deal possible.
The erstwhile Tersana FC forward joined Ismaily SC in August 2017 and has since become one of the most important figures st the Club.
Last year, Abdel helped his country win the Under-23 AFCON title, on home soil, thus booking a ticket to the 2020, now 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games.
In all, the winger has played 59 games for Ismaily SC and scored four goals plus assisted nine.
He has won a cap with Egypt’s national selection.
He could be a big catch for Ajax who are keen on feeling the void created by the departure of Hakim Ziyech or other players on the departure list.
