Former Royal Queens Football Club coach, Abayomi Olorunda says the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick has done a yeoman’s job at the helms of the country’s football federation.
The tactician who resigned his duty as the coach of Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side, Royal Queens last year after guiding them to the top flight opined that Pinnick is a blessing to Nigeria football.
“Amaju Pinnick has done a good and wonderful job for Nigeria football since he took over the saddle as NFF president. This informed his re-election and his recent quest to move ahead with the FIFA Council post.” Olorunda told www.kick442.com.

Amaju Melvin Pinnick celebrated his 50th birthday last year in grand style with the presentation of a brand new football pitch (complete with a 250-seater pavilion), a volleyball court, and two blocks of classrooms to his Alma Mater, Hussey Model College, Warri, Delta State.
Abayomi Olorunda asserted that Pinnick is a man with a good heart and that can be seen in what he did for his Alma Mater.
He said: “What he did at Hussey Model College which was a way of giving back to his school signified the kind of person and administrator he is. Pinnick should be supported and encouraged to represent the country at the world stage with his ambition to be a member of the FIFA Council. I wish him the best and I am optimistic that he will get the seat.”

Abayomi Olorunda started his coaching career with Winners Youth in Jos where he helped the team win the Saviours Cup for the headquarters church. He proceeded to Aklosendi of Lafia as an Assistant Coach and goalkeepers coach, before moving to Royal Queens.
At Royal Queens FC, Olorunda helped the nascent Club which was established in 2019 gain promotion to the NWFL Premiership from the NWFL Championship after defeating Pelican Stars, Moje Queens, and Police Machine.
He has the National Institute of Sports (NIS) Basic certificate and La Liga Master Class and will soon be going for his CAF B or C badge in , Republic.
