2016 African Referee of the Year Bakary Papa Gassama will take charge of Cameroon’s crunch round 6 2019 AFCON Qualifiers clash in Yaounde be this Month.

kick442.com has been reliably informed that the FIFA referee will lead a team of match officials when Cameroon face Comoros at the Group B decider at the Amadou Ahidjo Stadium.

The night game program to kick off at 7:30 PM local time on Saturday March 23 will see second-place Cameroon on 8 points trying to prevent a defeat against Comoros that 3rd is the Group.The game is a must win as the winner gets a ticket for the 32nd Edition of the AFCON tournament to take place in Egypt this summer.

Papa Gassama is the same referee who took charge of Cameroon’s 1-1 draw game against Nigeria on the 4th September  2017.The very experienced referee comes with a huge profile Months after participating in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, he also won the CAF referee of the year 2016.
