24-year-old Cameroon international goalkeeper Andre Onana has revealed that he was nervous on his Ajax debut four years ago.

Onana made the revelation on his Twitter account, asking his followers if they noticed that he was actually nervous on his Ajax debut.

The native of Nkol Ngok joint Ajax in 2015 from the FC Barcelona’s Academy, the popular La Masia.

He was sent to the club’s second team from where he was eventually promoted into their first team and made the first choice position his own from the 2016-2017 season.

He has gone on to make 122 league appearances, keeping 51 clean sheet.

He won the Dutch league and Dutch Cup in the 2018-2019 season and was ranked seventh in the world in the Ballon d’Or Awards.

He has been linked with a move away from the Dutch and European giants, with Chelsea, Tottenham, PSG and Barcelona have all been linked with the player.

He has won 16 caps for the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, since making his debut against Gabon in September 2016 in a friendly.
