Veteran Cameroon striker Mohamadou Idrissou has pen a new one year deal to join 4th tier Austra side DSV Loeben.
Idrissou joins the club from 3rd tier side Kfustein where he was top scorer last season with 15 goals in all competitions.
The striker is known for his trade mark gesture of the up and down movement with his hand, instructing his teammates where exactly he wants the ball seems to be in a competition for the last man standing of their generation in the national team.
The former Lion scored 6 during his spell with the national team, in 39 appearances across all competitions.
The poacher started his emergence with the national team in the 1999 FIFA world youth championship, then he was amongst that record setting Cameroonian footballers, that went all the way to clinching silver in the 2003 Confederations cup, the rest as they say, is history.
Idrissou Mohammadou is a ‘journey man’ in the real sense; the center-forward has played for a staggering number of 16 club’s including German heavyweights like Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Monchengladbach and will now continue with DSV Loeben.
The darling of Cameroon footballer has scored around 138 goals and counting, for club and country, not bad at all for a striker.
Officials of DSV Loeben will expect the same from him this season despite his aging limps.
