Renaissance FC of Ngoumou have confirmed the capture of experienced central defender, Stephane Paulin Meyoupo on a two-year-deal.
The club announced the capture of the 37-year-old on Thursday after a number of days of observation and the approval of coach Anicet Koung.
The defender has been off the Elite One scene for a number of seasons but now has a platform to show his class again.
Meyoupo had two seperate spells with YOSA sandwiched by a successful stint at Union Sportive of Douala where he won the 2012 top-flight championship.
The ex intermediate Lions defender also had a stint at Eding Sport between 2017 to 2018 during which he helped the club win the domestic title.
Meyoupo is Renaissance’s second major signing of this window, he works through the doors used by Anaba Patrick Metogo.
