Inter Milan will not oppose a return of Senegalese forward Keita Balde Diao back to Italy in the January transfer window.

According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are interested in recapturing the services for the 24-year-old forward for a second stint.

Keita Balde spent last season on loan at Inter from AS Monaco and scored five goals in 24 league appearances.

Balde is on contract with Monaco till June 2022. He has featured in six French Ligue 1 games this season, though he has only started one and has found the back of the net twice.

Born in Arbúcies in Spain, Balde spent seven years in FC Barcelona’s Masia and even played two games for the Catalonia Regional team before opting to represent the Teranga Lions of Senegal.

He has won 30 caps and scored five goals with Senegal. He was part of the 2019 AFCON team.
