The 2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) LaLiga U-15 Promises reach the semi-final stage after the conclusion of the quarter-finals on Tuesday.
Shooting Stars defeated Sunshine Stars 2-1 to book a semi-final clash with Katsina United.
Samuel Ajayi opened the scoring for Shooting Stars in the eighth minute before Adeyemi Oluwajuwon’s equaliser off Juwon Eleshin Abass’ assist in the 21st minute.
Hassan Wahab converted the winning goal for Shooting Stars in the 52nd minute.
Abubakar Yasir’s 24th-minute goal was enough to seal a semi-final berth for Katsina United over Wikki Tourist.
The two semi-finals will take place on Thursday followed by the third place and final match on Saturday.
