The 2022 National playoffs for promotion to the Cameroon Elite Two Championship has been scheduled to start on September 11, 2022.
A release from the office of Blaise Djounang – the Secretary General of the Cameroon Football federation this Wednesday confirm the date of the start of the ten clubs competition.
In the same release FECAFOOT announced the Limbe Centenary, the Middle Farms and Ngeme Stadium will host matches of the competition.
So far, nine champions are known with the exception of the champion of the West Region due to the crisis between stakeholders in the region.
This year’s interpools has two groups of five teams each.
FECAFOOT has decided that the best two teams in each pool will advance to the semi final during which they will clash to determine the finalists and the two clubs to be promoted to Elite 2.
This new format obliges a team to play at least six games in the tournament to obtained promotion to the second tier championship.
Just two clubs will be promoted this season, which is a club less than it was last season.
