As expected the lead trainer of the Egyptian National team Carlos Queiroz has named a squad of 26 players dominated by AFCON 2021 players ahead of their 2022 FIFA World cup tie against the Teranga Lions of Senegal.
Egypt joined Morocco, Mali and Algeria as the teams that made public their list of best fit personnels.
Al Ahly’s Mohamed Afsha is one of the new faces in the squad. The midfielder enjoying a great season in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League with the Red Devils has been rewarded.
