Four (4) North African clubs will fight it out for one (1) slot at the UNAF (North Africa) Zonal Qualifiers for the 2022 TotalEnergies Women’s Champions League.
This was confirmed in a circular by UNAF stating the schedule for the Zonal Qualifiers and the venue of the tournament.
ASFAR FC (Morocco), Banque de L’Habitat (Tunisia), Afak Relizane (Algeria), and Wadi Degla (Egypt) will trade tackles in Morocco in the North African Zonal Qualifiers.
The UNAF Zonal Qualifiers will take place in Morocco from August 13 to 23.

The winner of the Zonal Qualifiers will represent UNAF at the 2022 TotalEnergies Women’s Champions League (main tournament).
In 2021, ASFAR of Morocco finished top of the Zonal Qualifiers with 6 points from 2 games which ensured that the team qualify for the maiden TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League ahead of AFAK Relizane (3 points), and Banque L’Habitat (0 point).
The team represented North Africa at the maiden TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League alongside host, Wadi Degla and had a third-place finish defeating Malabo Kings of Equatorial Guinea 3-1 in the Third Place match.
Mamelodi Sundowns FC Ladies of South Africa won the title.
