Cameroon’s Football Association boss Prince Seidou Mbombo Njoya has held a working session with the technical staff of the U20 lions.
He received the team Tuesday January 5, 2020 in the FA Headquarters to prepare them for the AFCON tournament pencilled for this year in Mauritania
The baby lions grabbed a ticket to Mauritania after returning home as victors conquering Central Africa Republic by three goals to nil to scoop the 2020 Under-20 UNIFFAC trophy in Malabo-Equatorial Guinea, December 2020.
This comes at a time when the U17 lions, Intermediate lions, ANAFOOT, are all in camp to represent the country in major tournaments
Unfortunately, the world football governing body FIFA has announced they are abandoning plans to have the Under-17 and Under-20 FIFA world cup initially slated for this year in Peru and Indonesia respectively. It is unclear whether this decision may have an impact on the tournaments usually used as qualifiers event in the Confederation of African Football.
