U-18 Mangwa Boys of Bamboutos FC have beaten Njalla Quan Sport Academy 6#1.
A game of two bottom places but Bamboutos FC overturn to be superior over NQSA.
It was a game between two bottom places seeking their first win in the tournament since it’s first day of play. Njalla Quan Sport Academy have lost all three group stage games while Bamboutos only had a single draw and lost two.
Bamboutos playing against no point side, engaged in impressive set pieces to get hold of the game. Moving forward and backwards no goals came by for both sides.
Bessong Ivan Landry launched the score board giving Bamboutos the lead through a smooth finishing.
Minutes later Njalla Quan evened scores by a strike from Nfor Amedou.
Bamboutos FC was awarded a penalty from by Foul by goalkeeper Oyong Desire. Yayi Bayemi Bakenga beautifully converted it into a 2#1 lead for the Mangwa Boys.
NQSA in their persuit for an equalizer gave more openings to Singhe Tankou Wilfried who increased Bamboutos’ win chances to 3#1.
The second half saw NQSA correcting mistakes of the first half, portraying good defending and attacking skills.
Bamboutos FC again picks up the ball in the media, finds Yayi Bahemi who drives a good one into NQSA danger zone, Fokou Nguinto failed to deliver.
Action which they plan to correct, the Mangwa Boys took seven minutes to skyrocket the scoreboard to 6#1. A brace from Adwa Ndongue Roselt and a goal each from Fokou Nguinto, Moulief Lionel.
