Matches of the second round of the Cup of Cameroon preliminary in the North West region have been programmed for Thursday March 18, 2021 in some stadia around Bamenda.
The 12 qualified teams will battle for a place in the third round of play. Three teams will qualify to the group stage of the Cup of Cameroon.
Santos FC vs SIMAF FA
Santos FC of Bamenda will welcome face rivals SIMAF FA of Mbengui. Santos FC qualified to the second round defeating Rush FM FC 2#1, Saturday March 13, 2021. SIMAF FA qualified due to Grassland’s absence on matchday two.
Rainbow FC vs Rush FM FC
A tough game it will be at CS FUTRU field come Thursday March 18, 2021. Rush FM FC will not want to be left behind in the qualification to the third round. Rush FM FC qualified for the round as best losers. Rainbow FC defeated Hiltop Strikers 2#0 in the first round of qualifiers.

Rangers FC vs Universal Soccer Academy
Rangers FC Bafut sailed through due to the absence of Mankon United in the first round of qualifiers. Universal Soccer Academy showed up for Saturday’s game but Akam Sports Academy failed to answer present.
Vision Sports vs Abakwa Boys FC
Both sides only qualified as a result of the absence of their opponents. Highland Rangers Santa failed to show up against Vision Sports while Kilum Mt FC failed to show up against Abakwa Boys FC.

Option Sports vs Bang Bullet
The absence of Kumbo Highlanders paved the way for Option Sports to qualify for the next round while the absence of Avenir made it easier for eight-finalist in 2017 Bang Bullet to move to round two of qualiers.
Bafmeng United vs Kumbo Strikers
Bafmeng United trashed Dream Soccer Academy 2#0 during last Friday’s game to go through. Winners of 2000 Cup Of Cameroon Kumbo Strikers had the most impressive win during the first round of qualifiers, 4#1 over Vision Athletics.
The best three teams in the competition will represent the Northwest in the draw for the national challenge cup later this year.
Only wo teams from the region Kumbo Strikers in 2000 and Yong Sports Academy in 2013 have won the cup of Cameroon since inception over 50 years ago.
