Following a communique released from FECAFOOT Northwest office, signed by the Secretary General FECAFOOT North West Ndi Tsembom Elvis, the preliminary round matches of the 2021 Cup of Cameroon playoffs in the Northwest Region have been postponed.
As indicated by Communique no 017/FCF/NWRL/AA/21, dated Wednesday March 10, 2021 some rules have to be respected to portay the beautiful picture of the game.
All teams, coaches, referees, match commissioners taking part in Cup of Cameroon are expected to undergo a COVID-19 test at least 48 hours to a match.
All matches programmed for Wednesday March 10 and Thursday match 11, 2021 have been reprogrammed for Friday 12 and Saturday 13, March 2021 with stadia maintained.
The licenses to be used are currently under production and will be handed to the teams at the close of today. Note should be taken that teams did not pay for some of their licenses last season. Only the licenses paid for last year will be handed to the teams for free this year .
As a result Club officials, players, match officials and staff of FECAFOOT North West are expected to carry the test today.
These games postponed are to be the first Cup of Cameroon games in the Northwest Region since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
