In the 24 September Stadium Bissau, on 30th March 2021, Guinea Bissau secured their qualification ticket to Total Africa Cup of Nations, Cameroon 2021 after beating Congo 3-0.
The Djurtus as they are referred to will make it their third consecutive appearance in the biggest footballing showpiece on the continent.

But very deep into injury time, Cheikhou Kouyate equalized for the Teranga Lions after 96 minutes, managing to beat Eswatini goalkeeper Mathabela Sandanezwe.
