Universal Soccer Academy of Bamenda have qualified for the semi finals of the Cup of Cameroon Preliminary round in the North West region.

The boys of coach Soh Simplis confidently saw off Bafmeng United in the quarter finals played this Thursday January 23rd 2020.

Goals from former Bang Bullet player Raisu Hadji and Mensa Fru was enough for Universal Soccer Academy to have a comfortable two nil victory.

In other matches, Kumbo Strikers continued their fairytale story in the cup this season as they eliminated Dream Team with a 2#1 victory. One of the goals for Kumbo Strikers came courtesy of 16 year old Verla Parfait Limyuy.

Hilltop Strikers on their part needed a goal on either half to see of a very strong Santos FA team that squandered many goalscoring opportunities. The strikers from the hilltop had a comfortable 2#0 victory.

SIMAF FA Mbengwi equally secured a semi finals spot with a 2#1 victory over Kilum Mt FC.

– Kilum Mt FC 1#2 SIMAF FA Mbengwi

– Kumbo Strikers 2#1 Dream Soccer

Universal Soccer Academy, Hilltop Strikers, Kumbo Strikers and SIMAF FA are through to the semi finals.

The draws will take place this Friday January 24th at the North West FECAFOOT secretariat and semi finals matches will take place on Sunday January 26th.

The North West region is expected to produce three teams for the round of 32 of the Cup of Cameroon at the national level.
