Partial Final Round Results, qualified teams & Scorers

Eight nations including host Cameroon have already qualified for the African Nations Championship next year reserved for home based players.

Defending champions, Algeria put up an impressive show to beat Algeria 3-0 after a goalless first leg.

Tanzania became the first nation to confirm a spot at next year’s rendezvous following a 2-2 aggregate score line. The last time they featured in the continental event was in 2009.

Togo stunned Nigeria to seal their maiden participation despite losing the return leg game 2-0 to Nigeria but qualified on aggregated 4-3.

Uganda crushed Burundi to book their place with an emphatic 3-0 home win, 6-0 on aggregate.

Elmo Kambindu scored twice to inspire Namibia overpower Madagascar.

Zambia narrowly escaped a scare from eSwatini as they drew 2-2 on their return leg ( 3-2 on aggregate) while Rwanda edged Ethiopia 2-1.
