The South West Regional football championship this year will consist of six (6) pools as opposed to seven (7) during the 2019/2020 football championship.

According to the Secretary-General of the SW Bureau of FECAFOOT Sylvester Esowe Muambo, Treviso applied to move their headquarters from Meme to Fako and that this year they will be based in Tiko.

“So the five teams that are left in Kumba will form a pool. Last year Tiko had four teams with one pool, and this year it will be five teams with one pool, with the addition of Treviso. The issue of transporting players from one area to another is solved already. We worked closely with the clubs in Kumba and we have a strong relationship with them,” SG Sylvestre Esowe Muambo told kick442.com.

Zones for the SW Regional championship 2020/2021

9 teams are in Buea such as Buea United; Catholic University SA; Cinyodev Football Academy; Continental FA; Dynamic FC; H.O Academy; Mount Cameroon FC; Prisons FC Buea, and the University of Buea FC.

The Limbe zone consists of 7 teams such as Best Stars Academy; Future Stars Sports Academy (FUSSA); Isles of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA); Limbe Football Club Association (LIFCA); Njalla Quan Sports Academy (NQSA); Option Sports, and Victoria United FC.

For the Kumba zone it consists of 5 teams; Bau Manibok FC; Future Dreams FC; Kumba Lakers; NEMFA, and Nkamanyi Football Initiative.

The Tiko zone consists of 5 teams this year as opposed to 4 last year with the coming of Treviso FC. The teams include Ajax FC Likomba; Eteki Esoh Memorial Sports Academy (EEMSA); Little Foot FC; Tiko United FC, and Treviso FC.
