2019 Varsity Games:Official Classification after Day Five-UB Remains 7th, INJS and Douala Struggle For Supremacy

The quest to dominate the medal table has not witnessed any significant change with the National Institute of Youth and Sport ( INJS) consolidating her lead after five days of competition in Dschang,West Region of Cameroon.
The university of Douala is confident their 2017 exploit when they dethroned INJS and emerged winner for the first time will come to reality.
They are second on the table with 31 medals of which 9 are in gold. Meanwhile INJS totals 24, 16 in gold. A near constrast for both champions.
The University of Buea is still 7th but have increased her medal count to ten.
UB added another gold medal in wresting on Wednesday to make it three. They are now with a total of 10 medals( 3 gold, 2 silver, 5 bronze).

The competition now in it’s business end continues on Thursday.
