UB’s third silver medal came from team Paralympics with Ayuk Lovelyn in the female light weight category in powerlifting.
A well deserving medal from the Paralympic team after several attempts all void of success.

Wrestling

” The Gold Basket for team UB”
Wrestling is the only sport discipline as of now that has been able to produce two gold medals.
Blandine Ngiri in the 65 kg female wrestling event and Efonde in the 66 kg boys have done incredibly well.
They could have increased tally but fell to SUPPTIC in the semi final.
After the first round of fight, the wrestling girls were eliminated while the boys qualified for the quarter final.
They later made it to the semi final after a win over Douala but couldn’t reach the final.
They will compete for bronze medal on Friday.
