France based defender on the books of FC Niort Guy-Marcelin Kilama Kilama, 20 has joined the rest of his Cameroon Olympic Lions team mates at the team’s based in Cairo Egypt ahead of the Lions second game in the ongoing Under 23 AFCON.

The 18 of 21 boys listed for the competition by coach Rigobert Song Bahanack will be looking to forget the bitterness of conceding a late equalizer against Ghana on Friday.

Cameroon face Mali who suffered a 1-nil defeat against host Egypt in their own first game.

Ahead the game Cameroon have received a major boast with the arrival of Kilama.

Coach Song was forced to play captain Oum Gwet as a central defender on Friday because of the absence of his defensive duo of Tchamba Duplex and Guy Gilama.

Kilama will therefore be expected to partner Oumar Gonzalez at the back against Mali this Friday with Oum Gwet expected to return to his usual midfield role.

Three remaining players Noho Tolo, Martin Hongla and Tchamba Duplex are expected to available for the last group game against Egypt.

Cameroon will clash with Mali at the Cairo International Stadium at 6PM this Monday.
