The Under 18 Volleyball Lionesses of Cameroon have accepted a 3 sets to zero defeat to their Chinese counterparts this afternoon in their opening game in the ongoing 2019 FIVB in Ismaila-Egypt.

Cameroon scored less than 20 points in each of the 3 sets as China cruise to victory with a 25-14,25-16,25-12 win in 3 sets.

The victory puts China on the driving seat in Pool A with coach Rose Beleng’s Cameroon team having the duty to come out stronger in their second outing on Friday against host Egypt.

Egypt confronted fellow Group A rivals Puerto Rico in their first game of the competition after the opening ceremony on Thursday evening.
