AS Dibamba and Volcan have du Noun clashed in an interesting fixtures this Friday afternoon in Bertoua.

Both sides missed multiple chances in the game that ended on a 1 all score.

Volcan du Noun in their second outing looked more purposeful in their activities in the game and in the opening 12 minutes they came close to scoring twice but wayward finishing from Aziz Njoya kept the scores at zero all.

19 minutes into the game, William Kana had a chance to give Volcan the lead from a dead ball situation but his effort was weak.

Nanfack Paulidord forced a 20th minute save from goalkeeper Youchahou Younkou and the resulting corner met Ngiladjoe Etienne Fred but his header came off the Volcan post.

AS Dibamba became more Daring after this move restricting Volcan to keeping the ball just in their half of the field.

Volcan’s Njiemoun Souleyman registered a weak shot on target in the 22nd minutes before Referee Ngah Willy paused the game for a “Water break”

Volcan resumed the better side winning a corner in the 22nd minute but Sob Fontan’s header went wide.

AS Dibamba won a 36th minute corner thanks to a beautiful combination play between Nanfack Paulidord and Fred Ngiladjoe but the timid header from the resulting corner was comfortably gathered by goalkeeper Younkoun.

Julien Lamour Edjoka gave AS Dibamba the lead in the 42nd minutes through a bullet header that left goalkeeper Younkoun with no chance of keeping the ball out.

The college of Volcan coaches reacted to the goal by taking off winger Souleyman Njiemoun and brought in Fabrice Tochie.

In the last seconds of the first half goalkeeper Ngoh Fils Steve of AS Dibamba brought down William Kana in the box handing Volcan a chance to equalize,Aziz Njoya stepped up to make it 1 all.

5 minutes into the second half Referee Ngah Willy pointed to the spot again after a cross came off the the hands of a a defender, Fred Ngiladjoe took the penalty and put it wide.

3 minutes later Julien Lamour forced a save out out of goalkeeper Younkoun from close range

AS Dibamba made another substitution in the 58th minute bringing in Raymond Christian for Fabrice Lolten.

The scoreline stayed same until the hour mark.

A wicked cross from Fabrice Tochie was deflected by into the the waiting hands goalkeeper Steve Fils.

Willy Lopez found himself unmarked in the box at the 70th minutes but shot wide and he was replaced immediately by Sop Tchinda

AS Dibamba made their third and final substitution in the 68th minute.

Lamour forced a brilliant save off goalkeeper Younkoun after a wonderful header from within the box.

Volcan’s Aziz Njoya hit the cross bar from close range with 18 minutes to go as the forwards become more busy.

Both sides settled on missing chances in the remainder of the game.

AS Dibamba have goalkeeper Ngooh Steve Fils to thank for the point in today’s game while Volcan’s Aziz Njoya will have a long night giving the number of chances he missed.
