Week four (4) of 2019-2020 Nigeria National League will continue from Saturday, December 14, 2019 till Monday, December 16, 2019 at various centres across the country as clubs trade tackle with the aim of gaining promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Gateway United FC of Ogun State will aim for a victory in its first away game of the 2019/2020 NNL season against Go Round FC of Omoku on Sunday December 15th at Krisdera Stadium, Rivers State.
After back to back home wins against Giant Brillars FC and Apex Krane FC in the week 1 and 3 respectively, the Ogun State outfit have moved to third on the log behind 3SC and Dynamite FC who have played a game more.
Week 4 opponent, Go Round FC are 9th on the table with 3 points, following 3-0 defeat in the hands of 3SC in week one, 1-0 win over Dynamite FC at home in week 2 and 1-0 loss to Ibom Youths in week 3.
As Go Round FC will be eyeing two wins in four games, Gateway United FC are also poised to pick first away points to brighten its chances of topping the league.
Gateway United coach Akeem Busari expressed the readiness of his boys ahead of the clash.
“It’s our first away game of the season and it portends a lot for us and for our quest. We ve been working hard and we will work harder due to the demands of away games. We playing a decent side and we will give it our best”

As Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), intensify preparations for the match day four encounter away to FC Nilayo of Abeokuta, we bring you update on the fitness level of some indisposed and injured players.
NURUDEEN AMODU- The hardworking left back, who sustained injury in the opening match against Go Round of Omoku, is almost fully fit to return to the pitch.
A delighted Amodu, told Media, after one of the team’s training sessions, that he was happy to be back in training, as he could no longer wait to return to action.
QUADRY RAHEEM- A trojan in the midfield, like Amodu, has also been out of action after the first match against Go Round.
Although he was an unused substitute during the match day three fixture against Osun United, the industrious midfielder seems to be ready for a return.
He told Media on Tuesday that he was almost hundred percent fit, showing the eagerness to bounce back into the first team.
DETAN OGUNDARE – He was in goal during the first and second matches at home to Go Round and away to Abia Comets, where he got injured and was unable to make the match day three squad.
The U-20 national team goaltender, an All Africa Games gold medallist, is still recovering.
GAFAR OLAFIMIHAN – The striker with the knack for goals got a knock when the Oluyole Warriors clashed with his immediate former club, Osun United, last weekend.
Coach Edith Agoye had to substitute him in that game in order not to aggravate the minor injury.
From the look of things, the forward is expected to return to the pitch soon.
ELUM HENRY- The dependable defender is yet to taste action this season due to the injury he sustained during one of the pre- season activities.
He is getting better on a daily basis as he continues with his recuperation.
FRANCIS ANENE- The midfielder has been out of action due to illness but he is back on his feet and back to full fitness, going by his performance in training and in a friendly game last Wednesday.
CHINEDU ENUADEMU- The former Osun United left footer’s recovery is near completion. He was in action for the team in a recent friendly match, preparatory to this weekend’s pairing against FC Nilayo.
Subject to medical clearance and the decision of the technical crew, sone of these players might likely make their way back in the next game.

Gombe United Football Club will travel to Jos for NNL Match Week 4 fixture against Mighty Jets FC. The chairman of the the club Musa Sule (Jasper) and board members addressed the players before traveling after their final training at home.
Musa Jasper informed the players and the technical crew that they are working round the clock to ensure they get all their entitlements while as expected they play their part on the pitch.
He pledged cash incentive for either win or draw and charged the lads to be discipline and play according to instructions.
The secretary, Labiru Garba and board members-Abubakar Yellow and Bulus Plando also gave some motivational words.
Abubakar Yellow made a personal pledge of ten thousand naira per goal; five thousand naira for assist and ten thousand naira for clean sheet.

BAYELSA United VS Remo Stars
Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) makes a trip out of Ogun State for the first time since the commencement of the 2019/20 Nigeria National League (NNL) season as visitors to Bayelsa United FC.
The match day four (4) fixture between host, Bayelsa United FC and Remo Stars FC will take place at the Samson Siasia Stadium on Sunday, 15th of December 2019.
The Sky Blue Stars look disappointed with their last game after they couldn’t fashion out a win in front of their supporters at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu.
They will set their gaze on picking at least a point on the road to restore their hopes of returning to the top of Nigeria Football and also to maintain their unbeaten run this season.
Bayelsa United FC suffered a 2-0 loss to Vandrezzer FC at Ikot Ekepene in the match day three (3) of the NNL after second half goals from Ekerete Udom and Sampson Hussaini saw them go down to a newly founded side.
Coming into the match day four fixtures with a defeat, Bayelsa United will attempt to do everything possible to return to winning ways, and the Sky Blue Stars will try to cover up for their drab game over the weekend against J. Atete FC.
A win for Bayelsa United will take them from 9th on the table to the top four and a win for Remo Stars who are currently on third position to the top spot on Group B2 of the Nigeria National League (NNL).

In related development, newly created Vandrezzer FC will travel to trade tackle with host Calabar Rovers. Vandresser defeated Bayelsa Queens 2-0 last weekend and will hope to get something from Calabar with the likes of Daniel Kolawole,
Ekerete Udom and Sampson Hussaini hoping to score for the Akwa Ibom based side.

Aklosendi will host Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club (ABS FC).
After suffering a disappointing 3-0 loss to South West rival, shooting Stars, Osun United will work towards bouncing back when they host Dynamite Force FC. Dynamite Force FC defeated Abia Comet in their last NNL game.

It promises to be a wonderful show of football as clubs work towards their promotion ticket.
