The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has postponed the second leg semi finals match of the CAF champions league piting Egyptian side Zamalek and Raja Cassablanca of Morocco.
As kick442.com reported earlier today, 9 officials of Raja Cassablanca including 6 players were tested positive of Covid-19. This prompted the Moroccan health authorities to put the rest of the Raja team under a one week quarantine period and a further denial to grant special authorization for the team to travel to Morocco.
Zamalek and Raja Cassablanca were to play the second leg of the semi finals match on Saturday October 24, 2020. However, the match will not take place as planned.
In the first leg, Zamalek emerged 0#1 winners in Morocco and were looking to consolidate their advantage.
The next date of the match will be made public in the days ahead by the Confederation of African Football, CAF.
