1° de Agosto have completed the conquest of the Angolan Super Cup, defeating Desportivo Da Huíla 2-0, last Monday at Coqueiros Municipal Stadium, with a aggregate of 2-1, after of losing the first leg by 0-1.
Ary Papel got the first goal through a penalty won by Zito Luvumbo in 41st minutes. Cameroonian Leonel Yombi, was assisted by Isaac on 86 minutes, increased to 2-0, confirming the Super Cup victory. Which adds to the Girabola Zap and Angola Cup, both 2018/2019.
At full time, the military in the derby Primero“Achievement Ranking” improved to nine titles in 1991, 1992, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2010, 2017 and 2019, followed by Petro de Luanda and ASA with six (6) titles each.
The club is thus prepared to face the challenges of the new season.
