Cameroon’s lead striker Michaela Abam,21 has not trained since Wednesday because she is nursing an abducture injury.
The Paris FC forward has been one of the players in-form for the different camps of the Cameroon Women’s team as they prepared for the World Cup.
Dating back to November last year, she has scored 9 goals in 6 games but the US-born Cameroonian with unmatched love for Country may not be available for Cameroon in the opening game against Canada.
The young forward could have continued her development and fight for a place in the US Women’s team, but she has opted to represent fatherland and has continued with her brilliant form for Country thus explaining why she is a Lionesses fan favourite before her competitive debut.
A Reports from FECAFOOT’s Official website this week stated that she didn’t train on Wednesday and kick442.com understands she has been on the treatment since then.
Cameroon squares up Canada, Netherlands and New Zealand in the Women’s World Cup tournament.
