Cameroonian Midfielder/forward Farida Machia has provided 5 assists in Braga’s 8 nil champions League win over Rigas this played Tuesday evening.

In her first start for the Portuguese history making SC Braga feminine side, Farida operating as a winger in a 4-4-2 system displayed her versatility.

Playing in a role considered to be likely experimental, Farida provided 5 assists over 90 minutes helping her club finish the Champions league qualifiers in style.

SC Braga scored 11 goals without conceding in 3 champions League.In the big Cameroonian’s first inclusion in the Champions League starting XI,Machia made the Braga front line more productive helping Braga to score 8 goals for the first time in the competition.

Farida Machia’s generation of SC Braga players will have their names in the history books as they have become the first Portuguese side to go pass the first qualifying round of the Women’s UEFA Champions League.

Portuguese Vanessa Marques,Francisca Cardoso got a brace while their compatriots Babi,Laura Luis, and Dolores Silva got a goal each. US forward Shade Pratt climbed off the bench in place of Claudia Machado to get her 3rd goal of the Competition benefiting from an assist from Farida Machia.

Machia provided a hatrick of assists within the first 24 minutes of the game before adding two other assists in the 60th and 69th.

Goals by Babi in the 2nd Minutes plus Francisco Cardoso’s goals in the 11th,69th plus Dolores Silva’s in the 24th Minutes and Shade Praat’s 60th Minutes goal were all created by the Cameroonian “wondergirl”

Just like in the run to winning title last season Farida has been instrumental in taking SC Braga feminine pass the first preliminary round of the Champions League.
