Cameroon Under 23 international Herve Ngono Eloundou, 22 has told kick442.com that he decided to switch from AS FAP to Stade Renard because he wanted to make a progress to make progress with Stade Renard.
Days after sealing the move to the 2019 Cup of Cameroon winners, Ngono Eloundou is excited about the new challenge.
“I joined Stade for a reason, the club showed alot of interest on me,I believe it was time well spent at FAP, but also time for me to progress as a young player to a young club that’s want to create history in Cameroon football. Contrary to the major clubs in the land, Stade Renard is still moving towards greatness and I want to help achieve that with this club”
Ngono was one of the best forwards for AS FAP last season, he registered 9 goals plus 5 assists in 18 games in all competition last term.
Unfortunately for the forward, his contribution didn’t help the club secure promotion to the top flight nor help them win the cup though they got very close to realizing both.
Ngono earned his first invitation to the Lions Den in the last camping of the Olympic Lions in June of this year.
The speedy forward has penned a 1 year deal and will add to the multiple attacking options available for coach Bertin Ebwelle ahead of the new season and Stade Renard’s 4th campaign in the the top flight.
