Cameroon international shot stopper, Fabrice Ondoa has helped his club KV Ostende to secure a place in the 8th finals of the Belgian Cup.
The 2017 AFCON winner made several decisive saves in the cup match against Mandel United as his team went away with a 0-2 victory.
KV Ostende currently occupies the 11th position in the Belgian First Division with 10 points after 8 matches played.
During the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, Fabrice Ondoa was the undisputed goalkeeper for the Indomitable Lions. He was man of the match in Cameroon’s quarter-final win over Senegal, in which he saved the decisive attempt from Sadio Mané in the penalty shootout. Cameroon won the title with a 2–1 victory over Egypt in the final, and he was elected into the Team of the Tournament.
