Frank Andre Zambo Anguissa has been officially introduced to the press at Villarreal this Tuesday 6th August 2019.
The indomitable lion is poised to start work with International colleague Karl Toko Ekambi at his new club Villarreal.
Anguissa, 23 left Cameroun at the age of 18, first spending a year with Stade Reims’s B team and later moved to Olympique Marseille. His rise there was meteoric; joining the first team in July 2016, he was a regular starter for two years before being sold to Fulham for roughly €25m in August 2018.
Unfortunately, Fulham were, from the get-go, not very good, and Anguissa missed a couple of months in midseason with an ankle injury, so assessing his performance there has been a difficult task.
