Guinea’s playmaker and attacking midfielder, Morlaye Sylla has won the Total Man of the Match award in their second group D match played Saturday January 23, 2021 against Zambia.
Morlaye Sylla was creative in midfield for Guinea in most part of their match against Zambia.
Although the Horoya AC man was booked at the 35th minute of the match, he played a vital role for his team to pick up a one all draw against Zambia.
Prior to this Saturday’s match, Morlaye Sylla had told reporters that the match against Zambia is a final and that if his team can’t win, they they have to avoid defeat.
Sylla was Guinea’s playmaker and most valuable player against Namibia during their opening group match where he scored a goal of the tournament contender.
The 22-year-old Morlaye Sylla has made two appearances for the Guinea national team. He has scored two goals with the U-20, one with the U-17 and U-23 respectively.
