Nigeria’s hurdle athlete Tobi Amusan won the 60 metres Hurdle final at the ISTAF Berlin Indoor meet in Berlin, Germany today.

Tobi Amusan after winning her heat of the women’s 60 metres Hurdle at the ISTAF Berlin, remained unmatched as she took the final of the event in a time of 7.89 seconds, her fourth time under 7.9 seconds this term.

She outran her opponent, Nooralotta Neziri who came through well to edge second from Nadine Visser in 7.99 seconds to a time of 8.01 seconds.

Amusan competed in the heats of the women’s 60 metres Hurdle at the ISTAF Berlin Indoor Meet where she clocked 7.93 seconds easing off for a rather easy win ahead of Luca Kozák and Pamela Dutkiewicz both in 8.04 seconds.

The Nigerian athlete keeps getting better as she had some days ago won at the 2020 Folksam GP in Stockholm in 8.16 seconds.

Her consistency have seen her continue to get better in her timing and if she continues, Nigeria may just have an athlete finishing at the podium at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

Meanwhile, Ese Brume, leapt to a brilliant personal Best of 6.79m to finish second in the Long Jump final, behind World Champion, Malaika Mihambo who leapt to WL of 7.07 metres and ahead of Natassia Mironchyk-Ivanova, with 6.75 metres.
