Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Wikki Tourist has announced the signing of ten players as the January transfer window of the league ends today.

The Bauchi side have struggled to keep up with the good performance they started with which have seen them move from second to fourteen.

Through a club statement, Nasiru A. Kobi, the club’s media officer stated that the players signed are: Kapko Damien Uniel from ASVO, Benin Republic, Nzekwesi Arinze from Lobi Stars, Makurdi, Onaolapo Olayinka from Enyimba FC, Aba, Mohammed Hussaini from Heartland FC, Owerri and Nafiu Kabuga from Rivers United.

The other players are Tchato Mirakob Giscard of Heratland FC, Owerri, Freedom Omofoman of Lobi Stars FC, Makurdi, Metu Chigozim of ABS FC, Ilorin, Sadik Suleiman of Corton de Garoua, Cameroon and Victor Alegbe from Damak FC, Saudi Arabia.

The statement concludes that ”in the mean time, Sixtus Forsah who was earlier placed on transfer alongside other players has been recalled back to the team,while Franklin Anthony (Defender) and Williams Ukeme (Attacking Midfielder) have left for Rangers International FC and Akwa United FC respective.”

Wikki had announced the reopening of their stadium after eighteen months.
