🇳🇬NPFL Update: Kano Pillars suspend player, place him on half salary

Kano Pillars FC have suspended its player, Ifeanyi Nweke indefinitely and placed him on a half salary for his unruly behaviour.

It was reported by the club’s secretary that Ifeanyi had behaved unruly at the club’s secretariat yesterday.

His action which was not categorically stated was said to have not gone down well with the club management and hence the punishment.

A statement from the club said that the suspension has taken effect on Monday 13th January, 2020 and the player will be placed on a half salary with effect from this month, January.

Ifeanyi will now miss the next Kano Pillars match to be played on Wednesday against Katsina United at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium, Katsina.
