In the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) match day twenty, Heartland emerged the highest winners beating Adamawa United five goals to nil while Wikki Tourist stop the glittering shine of Lobi Stars by beating them four goals to nil.

Heartland came out smoking as early as the 5th minute as Eric Dufegha scored the first goal.

Chukwuemeka Obioma made it two for Heartland in the 11th minute. Abiodun Thompson scored the third before Obioma completed his hatrick.

Wikki Tourist also stunned Lobi Stars to a four nil win at the Bauchi Stadium.

Manu Garba and Idris Guda scored a brace each in the first and second half to give Wikki Tourist an emphatic win against league leaders, Lobi Stars.

Kennedy Boboye’s Akwa United shocked Rangers International at the Cathedral by two goals to one.

Ndifreke Effiong put the the away side in front in the thirteenth minute but Kenechukwu Agu restored parity for the home side. The Promise Keepers sealed the win in the 70th minute through Akarandut Orok.

Plateau United got a win that took them back to the top against Dakkada International.

Tosin Omoyele scored in the first half of the game to give the Jos side the lead. Salefu Oche wrapped up the win with a 86th minute goal.

Beach Soccer Star, Abu Azeez scored a brace to give his team, Warrior Wolves a two nil win over Kastina United in Warri, Delta State.

Rivers United did well to hold Kwara United to a one all draw at Ilorin Stadium.

Dede Moughara scored from the penalty spot for the home side in the 17th minute but Michael Enaruna equalised for Rivers in the 41st minute.

Kano Pillars pipped MFM FC at the Sani Abacha Stadium in a revenge of some sort.

The Kano side had lost their thirteen match unbeaten run to the Lagos based team last week in a three one lose but Usman Babalolo scored in the twenty-third minute to give Pillars the win on Sunday.

Nasarawa United also pipped northern brothers, Jigawa Golden Stars one goals to nil at the Lafia Stadium.

Ikenna Ofor scored in the 65th minute to win the game for Nasarawa United.

Ifeanyi Ubah won handsomely by at home against Sunshine Stars of Akure.

Uche Ihuarulam of Sunshine Stars drew the first blood in the 22nd minute but Samuel Kalu, Abdullahi Aliyu and Chiagozie Chilekwu scored in the 29th, 42nd and 77th minutes to give the Nnewi side a three one win.

The match between Abia Warriors was interrupted due to fans violence.

The match was goalless before the fans went rowdy after Abia Warriors player lost a penalty and the Enyimba fans celebrated it to the chagrin of the home fans.
