The full installment of the match day sixteen was completed today as Warri Wolves got the only away win of the match day after beating Nasarawa United while Jigawa Golden Stars and Rivers United’s match ended one all.

Warri Wolves got their first away three points at the Lafia Stadium after Atsimene’s brace at the end of ninety minutes.

Nasarawa goalkeeper Danlami had spilled Mayor Dikoo’s shot and from the follow-up Godwin Atsimene applied the finish.

Wolves would have made it two in the second half when Williams Sunday tees up Atsimene. He rounds Nasarawa keeper Danlami, but just when he should merely tap into an empty net, he misses target.

Nasarawa United however equalised in the 73rd minutes through Abubakar Lawal.

When it seemed it was going to be a draw, Atsimene scored his second at additional time after ninety minutes to give wolves the win.

In the other match, Rivers United scored first in the 14th minute through Cletus Emotan to give the away side the lead.

Rivers looked to be taking home all the points before Mujaheed Ibrahim of Jigawa Golden Stars levelled things in the 83rd minute.

The game ended one all at the end of ninety minute.

The result take Rivers United to top as joint table leaders with Plateau United.
